ONLINE GIVING

WHY GIVE?

We believe that our offerings and donations to the church - both local and national - is a small token of our appreciation of all that God has first done for us.   We believe that all that we have - our life, our family, our possessions, and our talents - all come from God first.  Giving an offering is a way of saying "thanks" to God for all that God has done.

WHAT WE DO WITH YOUR OFFERINGS?

In short, we do the work of God in the world and specifically in the community of Conneaut and the surrounding areas.  This means allowing the building to remain open as a safe gathering space for outside groups - like the YMCA - and the general public to use our facilities - like for Graduation Parties.  This also means having a staff present to help maintain the building through cleaning, having office personnel present to greet and assist people, and having worship leaders - both the pastor and musicians - to facilitate our calling to worship God.

But this is only a portion of your offerings.  Your offerings help support the growing Fishes and Loaves Ministry, including the Food Pantry and Nick's Closet, which has become the largest ministry at Good Shepherd.  Your offerings also help support connections with other religious organizations in the county and in the state.  Your offerings go back into the community many times over through all the volunteer work and ministry we do as a church of Christ.

Thank you for supporting God's mission!
